i had almost noo acne 2-3 weeks ago and suddenly got this really random breakout. I didnt really change much in my diet besides going vegan about 3-4 months ago. I have been using the cleanser and treatment products from acne.org for several months now, and they have been keeping my face clear most of the time. I tried using Clinique SPF25 but it made my face too shiny and it was way too expensive. I don’t have acne, but I need to find a moisturizer that is really non-greasy because I have combination skin. Preferably SPF30 because I am quite fair.

Try Olay Complete for comination skin, that’s the one I use. It’s SPF 15 though, I believe. That’s the one I use and I have combo skin too. I would recomment Olay for a.m. and
I have tried the clean&clear one the above posters talked about and I think it’s greasy for the T-zone. Also, my friend used the Proactive moisturizer and she said that it wasn’t moisturizing, as the brand is for the oily/more acne prone users.
Since you have combination skin, you can try to use two different moisturizers. For example, more moisturizing ones on the dry areas and more drying ones on you acne prone areas.

I get acne every once in while. Sometimes when blemish’s pop up, they can get red and nasty. I hate your talking to people and they stare at your acne. But I’m probably guilty about doing that too.

Okay, I’m 19 years old and I have some acne scars I was wondering should vitamin-e pills be broken and applied to your face directly or taken as directed on the bottle. I am 19 as well, when I was younger I wrecked my dirt bike and had plastic surgery. The doctor told me to go vitamin E oil and massage it onto my scars everyday and it really helped. Nature Made should have just an oil you can rub on it… if not poping the pills is fine. And im not sure if it will help with under eye darkness… thats caused from blood vessels breaking, try holding a cold spoon or even ice under your eye for a few seconds and it should help!
Calling all dermatologists or eye skin specialists- Wrinkle help for a 20 year old.?
I am just twenty but I suddenly have lines under my eyes. I currently use Shiseido’s “The Skincare Eye Soother” and it only reduces puffines and dark circles, it does do that well but I think I need to move on to something else for my wrinkles though.

2. I want to know if using anti-wrinkle cremes at such a young age will have long term negative effects or will they lose effectiveness over time. In other words, do eye cremes work like antibiotics do? Like we know we shouldn’t take penicillin for a cold, do cremes and small lines have the same relationship? I had allergy in the morning and found my face red and aitchy and also it was swollen around my eyes. before i slept i used OXY ACNE VANISHING TREATMENT with benozyl peroxide and a dove moisturizer, i had no problems with the moisturizer before coz i have been using it with Clean and clear invisible blemish treatment with salicylic acid. Now that i changed my acne medication i got this weird allergic reastion on my face. I already washed my face, but it is still? Any allergy tablets? And do you thing im allergic to benzoyl peroxide?
Sounds like you really irritated your skin. Treat your face more delicately if you are trying to combat acne and blemishes. If you overscrub or as you did, overdry your face by putting stuff on it that is supposed to dry out a pimple will only irritate your skin (you know this now), try to just put the blemish medicine only on the pimple or blemish itself. Wash your face gently when you wash it and always keep it moisturized, use a non-oily moisturizer. When you OVERDRY your face it tells your oil glands to produce MORE oil to replace what its lost soooo keep your face well moisturized and clean and drink alot of water and steam your face 3 times a week, you’ll have beautiful skin. For your allergic reaction I’d just take a benadryl and rinse my face with water, maybe try some cool cloths on the red, hot and puffy areas. It will take time to go away, maybe even a day. Been there, done that! Good luck!

It depends on how long you started this regimen. It takes no less than 28 days for your skin to show results of your new regimen, unfortunately it is how our skin works. Do not get discouraged if your skin appears to “break out” if you have recently started using this product. Your pores are being cleaned out which at first causes new break outs. after shave should be safe, as long as it smells safe. as for moisturizer and hand cream, stop using them when they get really watery and ‘sweaty’ inside the bottle. when on the top of the bottle, there’s a substance that resembles water and it’s heavier towards the bottom, that indicates it’s old. hope it helped ! I had never moisturized before, and I must say, my acne has almost completely gone, as opposed to getting 2-3 spots every 2 days, I am usually getting 2-3 every 2 weeks now, and have gone even 2 weeks without having a single spot coming up and I think it’s all down to Moisturizing!
So, I was wondering whether it is OK to now move onto using Bio Oil to treat the scars left behind, and completely replace my regular clean and clear moisturizer with bio oil? Or will it be too oily for my skin and clog it up??
Also, may it be more likely the fact that i’m moisturizing that has helped improve my acne, or that i’m using other products with Salicylic acid in too? Like a clean and clear facial cleanser with salicylic acid in it, and cotton pads soaked in SA etc etc.

Bio Oil is only a serum, it’s not meant to be used as a moisturizer so it won’t replace your normal moisturizer. I’d recommend using both. The Bio Oil won’t clog up your pores if you’re using a good SA cleanser along with it. However, you need to find a balance. If you notice your face drying up too much go easy on the SA.

What is the difference between body lotion vs body butter, or body wash vs soap?
For my birthday I was given all these bath products in one package.
Body butter is so great. I love it. Have some coconut lime that after a shower is heavenly and makes ones skin just so soft and smooth.
I like body lotion too but am stuck on the butter more.

i’m 15, have oily t-zone skin but i use acne cream which makes parts of my face flakey. should i use a rejuvenating cream that like prevents wrinkles or am i too young? i don’t want anything with an spf and it has to be oil free.

I personally like clean and clear dual action moisturizer its oil free but it moisturizes very well and its good to use at night.Its like 5 or 6 dollars!

I’m not sure how your skin can be dry and oily too, but Eucerin is a great moisturizer. And you probably just need to use regular Ivory soap on your face, nothing else!

My favorite line of products for acne is the Proactiv Solution. It gave me fantastic and quick results. However if your skin is sensitive that it reacts negatively to Proactiv, I’d sugeest you see your dermatologist for recommendations. They can look at your skin and really see what your need. However, if you are looking to stick with stuff you can find in local department stores, I’d try the Neutrogena for a month and see what it does for you.
