natural/paraben/sulfite free face care?

I’ve had it! Burts bees makes my face break out in a rash. Now I’ve been trying Dessert Essence anti aging and again, I’ve broken out into little tiny clear bubbles… I’ve also been using Jason night renewal cream and natures gate wrinkle diffuser. Aubrey organics doesn’t get the job done. I have sensitive skin that is at times dry. I hardly ever wear face makeup. Please suggest a product lineup: cleanser, moisturizer preferably anti wrinkle/aging… if you feel ambitious you can toss in masks/exfoliants for good measure ;-) thank you so so so much.

anything from liz earle works really well on sensitive skin. they use all natural ingredients and dont test their products on animals. i would reccomend…

How do I treat dry skin on my face?

Hello! I have gotten a very flaky face somehow, right on the sides of the bridge of my nose. I also have very acne-prone skin. The products I use (at night) are Clean and Clear Blackhead Clearing Scrub, and then I use a Proactive moisturizer, and then I use Clearasil Extra Strength Acne Vanishing Cream. Sometimes I use an extra moisturizer right after my shower. Are one or more of these product causing the problem? How do I get rid of the flakes? How do I prevent dry skin, without having an acne breakout?

wow your using alot of acne medication on your skin it just making your skin very dry flaky I suggest to try gentle face wash if you use alot harsh chemicals on your face your skin is going to age sooner than you though.
for acne I suggest to use aveeeno clear complexion foaming face wash only no other acne face wash .Then use neutrogena oil free moisturizer it good very light is water based so is good for your face. use aloe vera mask for your face use gel part spread on your face for about 20 minutes 3 times a week for a great pimple healer dry skin as well. use Alba botanica face cream Jasmine vitamin E cream very good nice smell you find at walmart stores .olive at night is also good for dry skin.

Tonights Doctor Who? Which episode is it? There were 2 different trailers….?

At the end of last weeks doctor who (the weird anti aging machine) the trailer showed captain jack, some scarecrow men and john simm (the master). Then yesterday in the break between programs there was another trailer which was completely different. The doctor was in this friery orange place wearing a visor… So does anyone know which episode it’s actually going to be tonight?
I was hoping that it would bet he one with teh master and captain jack.

the trailer shown at the end of the last episode was showing the end of the series and the one shown on the bbc in between programmes is the one for tonight. Bit confusing i know!

What facial cleanser is good for my dry/sensitive skin?

i need a cleanser for my ACNE also on my cheeks, any suggestions and where to buy it/how much it costs?

I have the same situation! I have dry skin and some acne, but I want a strong cleanser to get it away but I don’t want it to irratate my skin.

DRUGSTORE RECCOMENDATIONS:
1. THE NEUTROGENA WAVE: These powerful cleaner leaves my face really soft and clears up acne at about 13.00. It comes with included pads with built-in cleaner, but it’s a little too powerful for my skin, but I love the vibrating cleanser. So, I buy plain cotton pads and put them on the Wave, and put a pump of my own cleanser for my skin. It works 100% better!

2. Since you have acne you probably think you don’t need a moistuirizer. But you do. I like Biore Lightweight Facial Moistuirizer at about 15 dollars. It’s an amazing moistuirzer and it protects my skin, too. But the SPF is a little heavy, so only use it in the morning during the daytime.

What oily skin-care regime/products?

I am a 19 year old male with tired, pale, sensitive, oily, blemished acne prone skin, also I have dark red marks under my eyes that are wrinkled, and large open pores at the sides of face.
I have no idea how to improve my skin and it’s depressing, I don’t know which products to buy and in what order to use them, please if you can guide me in some easy to follow steps let me know what I need to do for healthier looking skin.

Citrus Skin Remedy
You need lemon juice and orange juice. Mix the two juices together and apply all over your face in an upward and outward motion. Wash off after 10 minutes.
Honey and Cinnamon Paste
Make a paste by mixing honey and cinnamon powder. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it next morning with warm water.
Honey and Tomato Mask
Mix the tomato juice with honey until it appears sticky. Apply the mixture of tomato juice and honey on the face and neck for 15 minutes then wash off with warm water.
Paste of Yogurt and Banana
Mix one or two bananas in 6.6 oz yogurt and mash it until it begins to look like a paste. After washing face apply this paste before sleeping.
Egg White and Honey Mask
Beat an egg white part. Add 1 teaspoon honey and with a cotton swab, apply it on face. Keep it for around half an hour. Rinse with warm water.
Oatmeal Facial Mask
Mix one pack of instant oatmeal with water to create a paste. Once the paste is formed, dab the mixture onto your entire face. Let the mixture set for approximately 2 minutes and rinse off with cold water.
Egg White and Oatmeal Acne Treatment
Beat one egg white into foam and add oatmeal powder until it forms a paste. Apply to the face and let it dry. Rinse with warm water, and then cool water to seal the pores.
Cool as a Cucumber Yogurt Facial
Puree 1/2 cucumber in blender mix in 1 Tbsp plain yogurt, apply to face. Leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse well.
Apple Zinger Facial Mask
Take 1 medium size apple, grated fine, 5 tbs. honey. Mix the grated apple and honey well. Smooth over skin and let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.
Pineapple Olive Oil Mask
In a blender, combine 4 large pineapple chunks or 1/2 cup canned, drained pineapple and 3 tablespoons olive oil. Blend until almost smooth. Apply mixture to face with fingertips and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse face with warm water and pat dry.

The foods that can give you better skin are broccoli, almonds, and fish. Also, you should use a skin moisturizer daily and sunscreen year round. I use Olay face cream, and my skin looks and feels better than before.

When i moisturize it seems to make my skin oily, is there a good moisturizer for acne prone skin out there. I’ve always heard that you were supposed to moisturize daily.

its clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel! thats important- dont get the wrong one cuz they have 3 different ones and they look exactly alike but this one is the gel! it doesnt have any oil and it feel great when you put it on.

Do you really need a face primer before your moisturizer?

All the companies like estee Lauder, Prescriptives, etc sell soemething that says it protects the skin from environmental hazards and will help your moisturizer work better and in turn your foundation will look better. Is this true? or just a plot to get more money?? Also anyone have dark circles and any of the stuff work to help that also> thanks.

Face primer is one of those products that some rave about and others hate. If you are not acne prone you could always try to get a sample of it to try it for yourself. Some people swear by it though.

Are there any good hair moisturizers or lotions?

I have just started using a flat iron for curling my hair. I have heard from friends that I need to use a hair moisturizer or hair lotions right before I start curling my hair to keep it healthy. Are their any products you recommended that have a reasonable price?

I use Got2B Smooth Operator Lustre Lotion, which hydrates the hair and protects it against heat styling and harmful UV rays. It works REALLY good! It costs around $6-7 for a 200 mL bottle and you can get it at almost any grocery store. Just apply a dime sized ammount, rub between your hands, and apply it evenly throughout your hair before you heat style. It leaves your hair soft and detangled. I really recommend it :)

Nivea body lotion Fragrance?

I really can’t stand the smell of baby oil and this lotion I just got by Nivea called “Essentially Enriched” reeks of it. Do any Nivea lotions have a more pleasant smell or are any unscented? I would only want a fragrance if it wasn’t a heavy fragrance like baby oil. I like this lotion but I can’t even sleep with the smell lingering in the air. Thanks for your answers.
I was asking about Nivea because I need to use a lotion with mineral oil in it. Please don’t give suggestions of other brands unless they have mineral oil (or coconut oil).

Ah I know what you mean! I bought that lotion as well! Jergens, Aveeno, and Lubriderm all have fragrance free lotions that are super moisturizing! Good luck! :]

are Lab Series (skin care products) good for men?

im planing to by the Oil control daily hydrator, Oil Control Solution, Night recovery. my skin is kinda oily and if i put normal moisturizer, it gets really oily during the day. so do you recommend these products?

Yes they are. i believe Tim Gunn from Project runway uses them himself. I remember reading it in GQ Magazine or something. Believe it or not, I actually have the Oil Control Daily Hydrator right in front of me lol. Thats so weiiirrddd…..anyways, I bought it. Must be good lol. Im a skincare junkie. hahahaha…

btw….look into Jack Black All Day Oil-Control Lotion with Kaolin, Cotton and Vitamin E if you want a men’s moisturiser for oily skin. It actually won a Men’s health grooming Award.

oh darn, they dont sell it at Boots.

But like I said before, if you want a mattifying moisturiser, dont limit yourself to men’s products. for obvious reasons, women have the best products. Cosmedicine Medi-Matte Oil Control Lotion SPF 20 is excellent.

btw…If you go to a Lab Series counter, they can analyze your skin with this machine so they can recommend the right products for you. I had an analysis done and they said I had beautiful skin lol.
