My kids and I have the worst dry skin especially in the winter. I have a 6 yr old, 4 yr old, and 4 month old with eczema. I just have dry skin. We use Aveeno and I have been using Aveeno on them but nothing seems to work. We need good skin care products (natural and organic would be best) and a good skin care regimen for us.
coconut OIL.

whats a good cleanser to go with Retin A and benzaclin?
im so confuse i dont know what cleanser to use so far i used cetaphil and i dont like it made me break out alot! i dont want to waste my money but just wondering wats a good cleanser ?? and also moisturizer.. ooh yeah also how did it go for you using retin A or benzaclin any info?
thanks
Try neutrogena products, especially ones without alcohol. I use benzaclin and recommend their products because they don’t overdry your skin. Good luck!
why would any normal person want to spay/neuter a rabbit?
i had a look in the RSPCA website (meant to be the organization which ‘cares’ for animals in the UK) and i read the wierdest things there !!
first they advice everyone to neuter/spay their rabbits (cut their genetalia) !!! then to not mix rabbits of same sex (has to be 1 neutered male + 1 spayed female) !! then to instal microships under their skin so they can basically be ‘scanned’ if lost (like when u buy an item from the supermarket it gets scanned in the tills) ..
isnt this the most unhumane things u ever heard ?? would u like ur genitals to be shopped ?? or some metal ships fixed under ur skin !??
cant vets make money from other things? just let the rabbits live normally, if people are afraid of them being ‘aggressive’ so dont f****n raise them then!! buy a fish or a bird whatever ..
Alot of people think that gettin’ the bunny fixed will make it less agressive. None of my 5 rabbits are fixed and they are just fine. I agree with you, why would you want to destroy what, well, everything is made for. We were put on this earth basicly to multiply. All people have to do is control your rabbit. The bunny doesn’t need to be in the same pen as another rabbit anyways. And who loses a rabbit? If one of mine got out, they would be something’s play toy in no time. If it were me that someone tried to put a chip in me, I’d bite ‘em
I’m 29 and was wondering what kind of anti aging facial creams or therapies would be a good fit for my age group. I’m looking to prevent wrinkles and such before they start to show up as I haven’t noticed any yet (thank God!) I just want to be ahead of the game. Any suggestions?
Any moisturizer that contains sunscreen is great in preventing wrinkles.
I have so many products in my bathroom (I like to try it all…lol). I currently wash my face with Olay Regenerist and then use the Thermal Skin Polisher (which heats up with water, it’s like a mini chemical peel). I moisturize with Loreal Wrinkle Decrease. My foundation has a spf. My routine changes constantly.
I also love Clinique’s Dramatically Different moisturizer and Dermalogica’s Active Moist.
The key is to eat right, drinks lots of water, and moisturize

What’s the best way to apply cream eyeshadow so that it lasts and doesn’t gather in the crease?
I love cream eyeshadow because the colors are so pretty, but very quickly after I apply it, it wears off and kind of gathers in the crease of my eye lid. How should I prepare my eye lid to receive cream shadow? What’s the best applicator for applying cream shadow? Thanks.
when you apply your moisturizer and foundation, put this on your lids as well, the cream shadow is gathering and rubbing off because your lids are too dry. Also, before you put on the shadow, apply a pressed powder to your lids in a light coat. Apply the cream shadow with an artist brush, this allows it to go on lighter than with a sponge tipped applicator. The lightly dust loose powder on your lids before applying mascara!
What’s the best brand of facial cream for very dry skin?
Help! I’m 34, getting married in two months and really want to “shine” on my wedding day! I recently bought Clinique’s RepairWear foundation make-up, which is supposed to be good for dry skin and hiding “the first signs of aging”, but I feel like it does just the opposite! It makes my wrinkles stand out and dries out my forehead and nose so much that my skin flakes and peels off. A clerk at a make up counter (not a Clinique rep) told me the make-up is fine; what I need is a new moisturizer. Besides my daily facial cream (which I vary in terms of brands) I’ve used Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion under the base, as well as Moisture On Call. This clerk said I need something stronger and recommended some Biotherm products. I’ve also considered Clinique’s Superdefense cream. But before spending a fortune on a bunch of different products that don’t work any better than what I’ve used to date, I thought I’d check around and see what other people recommend. Thanks!
Dry skin types have to be extremely careful to protect their skin. Yogurt-honey combination helps dry skin. Make an egg pack with a yolk, a teaspoon of honey, a tablespoon of milk powder. This is beneficial to dry skin types. There are many helpful tips to cure dry skin at http://useinfo-dryskin.blogspot.com/
Skincare & Hair HAUL: Biotherm Homme, Nivea, Life Dermavive, Alberto European
I was considering using Loreal Men Expert, but I’m not really too sure about it. It seems a little too commercialized and because of that I have my doubts.
I’ve also been considering using Nivia for Men
Can you give me any advice? I’m going on 25 in the end of January and I really need to start using some sort of anti-aging product, while I’m still relatively young.

what dosages, strength, medicine names should i take?
i know for sure i want to take an estrogen and an anti-androgen i just don’t know what strength etc. to take for my age and weight
i am going to self-administer until i my doctor can prescribe me some.
thank you
To reinforce what everyone else has said; DON’T self-medicate. Get a prescription from a doctor, and regular medical supervision.
This course of action can kill you; it killed two of my friends.
I mean, just listen to yourself; you intend to self-administer, but you have no idea of dosages, formulations, or even the NAMES of the potentially lethal drugs you intend to take….does that really sound like a good plan?
does neutrogena rapid clear daily cleaning pads and clear n clear advantage oil free acne moisturizer work?
which one do u have and did it work?
I use the Clean and Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit which I think includes the moisturizer. It works for me. The cleanser dries my skin out and kills bacteria and the moisturizer makes it soft and smooth. You could try the moisturizer by itself but I don’t think it’d work. You need something to kill the bacteria and something to moisturize your skin so that it doesn’t need to produce extra oil to cool you down.
Fair, Dry, Sensitive, Very Acne Prone Skin – What moisturizer?
What moisturizer do those of you with this type of skin use without irritation? I really breakout from anything touching my skin at all, and detergent or fragrance will cause hives. I am 30 and getting drier skin every winter so I need to invest but I don’t want another to just sit on the shelf or cause breakout. I keep my breakouts under control with a gentle soap free cleanser with glycolic acid and eating nearly perfect whole food diet and tons of water with lots of lemon ( My skin reacts from poor quality foods) I don’t want to undo all my efforts of getting clear because I am so fair, it takes so long to gain even skin tone after the breakout areas. Please recommend something I would love. Thanks .
I have extremely dry skin as well, the only thing I have found that keeps my skin under control is old fashioned unscented cold cream, I wash and moisturize with it. no breakouts in 5 years now
Okay, well fall is approaching, and I can already feel the areas around my chin, nose, and eyelids starting to roughen, even though I can’t see it yet. I was diagnosed with SD last year after year of battling rashes, allergies, etc.
I don’t want it to get like last year again with the patches of flaky skin slothing off, leaving behind painful redish patches.
Does anyone know a good moisturizer and cleanser that I should be using? Honestly, if it will really help and keep my skin smooth enough to wear makeup, I’ll spend the extra money on it. I’ve noticed that some moisurizers cause me to break out and get oily, which I’m proud to say I’ve never had a full-blown pimple in my life.
Clinique? Estee Lauder? Another brand? I don’t know who to go with. I’m just terrified of another year like last year, another winter and spring of avoiding pictures
Your best bet is to see a dermatologist & see what products he/she would advise you to use. I have sensitive skin & I use Aveeno fragrance free skin cream everywhere except my face. I had dermititis a few years ago & the dermatologist told me to use the Aveeno. On my face, I use Oil of Olay Complete. It’s in a white plastic bottle, inside a white box. I use the “Sensitive” & it’s great. Maybe you need a fragrance free moisturizer. The doctor can tell you what’s best.
On recommendation from my dermatologist, I tried Eucerin facial moisturizer for sensitive skin it also contains an SPF. It is the first product that hasn’t irritated my skin or felt really greasy.
The problem is I have no access to a gym because nobody can take me and I don’t know how to drive.
I have some weights and I am increasing the weight ever week. Doing all the important exercises.
Been going for 6-7 months so I wondering how long it will take to be somewhat like the picture.
also tips would be nice
To sculpt yourself like that picture, depending on how you look now, would take a lot of time. This likely will mean years, depending on exactly how dedicated you are and how much time you spend lifting everyday. In addition, the guy in the picture has an extremely low body fat content, obviously, so if you want to have every vein and every muscle you’ve been working on to be seen, you need to lower your body fat as well. So, in addition to stepping up your lifting, I would recommend finishing every workout–if you already don’t– with a hard cardiovascular workout. Personally, I feel that jumping rope is one of the most underrated cardio exercises out there. Not only does it tone your body well, it is estimated that a moderate 10 minute jumping session burns about 125 calories, which would take about 3 times as long to burn if you were just running. The only thing I can say is: Patience. Unless you’re already in great shape, acquiring a body with less than 5% body fat and extremely defined muscles can take anywhere from 2-5 years or more depending on exactly what level of bodybuilding you are looking to achieve.
I am looking for an anti-aging, line diminishing, eye cream. Which eye cream do you like and why?
I like eyecon by benefit, the only eye cream I have used that really worked. I only knew because when I ran out, suddenly I got really dark circles and puffy eyes.
so i already use olive oil for my hair, body and face, and i love it. I know alot of other things to use for the hair, like eggs and stuff, and also i have looked up things for the face, like yogurt and lemon. But what is good to use for the body? are there any soaps or lotions i can make by mixing together some natural home ingredients to make the skin glowing and soft? or is it basically the same thing that they say to use for the face?
This one is fantastic!
(For all over body use, but you could probably use it on your face as well if you wanted.)
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Sugar
Any cold pressed oil (olive / sunflower / peanut) enough to dampen the mixture
* Mix the ingredients well.
* Gently massage this scrub all over the body.
* Repeat twice a month.
What kind of daily moisturizer and make up do you use for your face?
And what brand foundation do you use?
I’ve been using Olay total effs (7 in 1 anti-aging) daily moisturizer and Shiseido’s oil free powder foundation.
What products do you use for your face every day?
I use the complete Clinque skincare line, as I have trouble skin. I really love their moisturizer! As for makeup I use 2 brands for the most part. I use Laura Gellar for my primer and foundation, then the rest of my makeup in Smashbox. Sometimes if I want a more natural look I jsut use my Smashbox tinted moisturizer. I buy all of my makeup off of sephora.com, they have the absolute best, plus they have tools to find the best makeup for your skintype. Also if you have a store near, you can go in and “play” with all of the makeup!!! So much better than the department store counters…
HOW I KEEP MY ‘WASH N GO” MOISTURIZED – Homemade Hairspray
I have oily skin but need a moisturizer prior to putting on makeup. I need one that won’t cause any acne and one that won’t make my skin too shiny.
I have the exact same problem.
Aloe Vera gel works wonders for me . That is all I will use. It disappears, heals skin and won’t shine up. Should be easy to find too.http://www.herballoveshop.com/product.asp?PID=6546&source=overture
This is my favorite brand;Fruit of the Earth
Can you recommend a natural or organic skin care system?
I’d like to start using a natural skin care system that includes a foaming cleaser, toner and moisturizer. Can you recommend any brands? I’ve been looking at the ingredients in the products I have been using and it’s getting harder and harder to use stuff whose names I can’t pronounce!
Hi,
I had wanted the same thing and I came across this website. Its amazing. It has done the trick for me. I came across your question and thought you might be interested.
Where can i get Nivea body whitening milk lotion?
I tried the Nivea Offical Website, but it doesnt even have it listed. I know that its typically seen in like the Phillipines ect… But where can i get it in the US where the price isnt outrageously high?
I tried EBAY but shipping is like 10-15 bucks not including the cost of it. >.<
& Also does anyone know of some GOOD other skin whitening products?
Id heard of this one thats like CY? Whitening bar of soap... but im looking for something someone has used, and knows its good/works.
Mkay thank you(:
The best lightener (for face, elbow, knee and armpit) that my wife used is papaya kojic and licorice base soap and cream which are available online. These work wonders. Maybe it will work on you too.
Try searching it through Google ‘shopaholic’s bargains’
My skin feels like it’s burning and I haven’t washed it today. I’ve noticed lately that the exfoliating cleanser I’ve been using is making my skin very very sensitive. I ran out of lotion (Aveda Acne relief) and seeing how expensive it is I’m trying to find a less expensive store one. Considering using:
Purpose Dual Treatment SPF 15 $9.
Aveeno Ultra-Calming SPF 15 $14.
Eucerin redness relief $14.
and the Cetaphil cleanser $11
What are the best available on the UK high street? e.g. tinted moisturiser, exfoliating scrub, etc. I have normal/dry skin and I am allergic to any form of foam or spray hair removal.
My ophthalmologist tells me that my eye condition called “blepharitis” is NOT curable. Is this true?
I have had this “blepharitis” for some time now.Going on 6 months.I have been given antibiotics and some type of steriod cream for my eye for 2 months.
The sympoms have cleared up a bit but i still have a problem from time to time. Will i always have to deal with this condition? Is it really NOT curable?
Thanks for all the help people.I guess im just kinda frustrated with this condition.I’ss do as you guys/gals say and go get some baby shampoo.Thanks.I will let this vote.
Think of it like dandruff, you can control it but never “cure” it, hygiene is the best way of coping with it, the Johnson baby shampoo suggestion earlier perfect.
Have you ever tried natural homemade facial stuff?
What did you use and does it work? Like did you ever use like green tea as a facial cleanser, mashed strawberry facial mask stuff like that remedies for normal to oily skin
