what is the best anti-aging skin care out there?
I am 42 and I see tons of different companies “pimping” their product. They claim they have the best product out there because of this ingredient or that ingredient…what is important to look for? I think I look pretty darned good but I can tell a difference from 10 years ago…I want to fight the signs of aging on my skin

does Garnier Pure A moisturiser work?
The Pure A moisturiser looks so good on the tv but does it really minimise pores and clear up imperfections beacuase i would love to try it but it is £5 for a tiny tube of it so i dont want to buy it when i could get something better for the same price
i bought the day cream and night gel in tesco’s (buy 2 for £4.50). It is good i don’t get hardly any spots now, I would say it does work cos it doesn’t leave your skin greasy. You don’t need alot so the small tube does last a while.

Is HGH deficiency in children the fountain of youth?
I was looking up people who look younger than their age and i came across Andy Milonakis’ name in a forum.
This guy is 35 and looks and sounds like a 14 year old kid. He attributes his look to a Human Growth Hormone deficiency.
But then, trying to find more things on HGH and youth, i was surprised that everywhere HGH deficiency was listed as a disease. And HGH therapy is considered an anti-aging treatment.
What? Isn’t HGH the one that makes you age in the first place?
And shouldn’t HGH deficiency in children be encouraged, since remaining young has been humanity’s quest since time immemorial?
First, these individuals with hGH deficiency do not live longer. Second, it’s not fun being unlike the rest of the population, especially when you are a child or a teen.
Finally, hGH as an anti-aging substance will prove to be a myth, an expensive scam. You read it here first.

have you got freckles on lips?
what you need:
cooking oil
sugar
toothbrush
cup
good moisturizer
sun lotion spf 30
Vitamin C & E
lip balm/chapstick with spf 30
facial wipes
do this 4 times a week for a month or less for 2 mins before you go to bed….
1. mix sugar and cooking oil together in a cup
2. get a toothbrush
3. put mixture on tooth brush
4. rub toothbrush on lips
5. wipe off the mixture off your lips with some wipes
6. apply the good moisturizer and vitamin C & E on your lip before you go to bed
7. leave the moisturizer on over night
8. in the morning, apply sun lotion spf 30 on your lips leave it soak in and then apply the lip balm/chapstick with spf 30
9. carry the lip balm/chapstick with spf 30 with you when needed to apply on lips
results:
perfect smooth soft lips without no flaws =)

Creams/moisturisers for redness of the face (keratosis pilaris rubra faceii)?
I have rather sever KP Rubra Faceii which covers both of my cheeks fully. I am aware that there is Pulse Dye Laser treatment that can help it but that’s quite an expensive option – so could anyone recommend anything that can help reduce surface redness of the face? Any tips of creams/moisturisers/other would be greatly appriciated.
I’m not sure if this works, but the reviews seem pretty legitimate.

What is the best facial moisturizer for severe dry skin?
What is the best moisturizer for severe dry skin (face only)?
I have very dry skin on my face.. to the point of cracking and peeling. I also get acne from time to time. I need to purchase a moisturizer that helps these problems. I’ve tried using petroyluem jelly but that clogs pores. I’m thinking that I need something that constantly sloughs dead skin cells like Olay Regenerist or something. Cheap and expensive suggestions welcome! Thank you!

Does shampoo and body wash go bad?
I cleaned out my hall closet and found a bunch of shampoo, lotion, body wash, hair gel, etc. They’re from quite a few years back. I received them as gifts and never used them. Are they still good? I was planning on putting them out here at work for grabs but if they’re bad, I’ll just throw them out.
I would put them out at work. Anything that has changed color should be thrown out. Otherwise those things take a very long time to go bad if ever. If they had been out in the garage or someplace hot they might have gone bad.

Serious question for uncircumcised men……?
My husband and I did not circumcise our son and we were wondering if there is any “special care” that we need to be doing for him ( he is 1yr). Also I have had 2 people tell me that I need to practice streching it so the skin will retract when his older but I was under the immpression that this was unneccesary. I do not have anyone to ask and could use some practical advice from some in same situation THANKS
No offense to posters but I feel routine circumcision is not a medical neccessary procedure and is basiclly genital mutilation, I am asking this question to other uncircumcised males not for others to pass judgement.
I am now 25 and am in the army the reason why i say that is because i have to go for about two weeks without a shower in the field and my penis is still free from infection. When i was old enough to masturbate i noticed i could not pull my foreskin back all that way but over time it does stretch and now i can pull it all the way back. The head of the penis will remain sensitive which is great for sex but if you are considering getting it done the younger the better its up to you. The simple answer to your question is no you don’t need to do anything at all.

Is it bad to use aging lotion when you don’t need it?
Or is it good?
I ran out of normal face lotion so I went to my moms bathroom and used her aging face lotion [pretty nifty/expensive stuff too].
I always wondered if using this lotion stuff when you’re younger effects what you look when you’re older. Like…will I get more or less wrinkles… Or…if this anti-aging lotion stuff is good for me when my skin isn’t old at all.

Hair products for infants?
My daughter is 2 months and she can’t use Johnson’s shampoo. Are there any other shampoo’s and moisturizers that are safe for her to use?
You don’t mention why you can’t use Johnson’s but you can find all kinds of products for baby in any store with a baby section. However, you don’t actually need to use baby shampoo. Any moisturizing shampoo will do. Most baby shampoos are quite strong because they are designed to get baby junk out of their hair. I use Johnsons to strip hair before chemical treatments or minerals from well water, color that’s gone too dark, etc. The only reason they say it doesn’t burn baby’s eyes is because it has a numbing agent in it.

If I start using anti-wrinkle stuff now, like RoC, will it be less effective when I really need it?
I want to start using the RoC brand daily brightening spf moisturizer, I know that doesn’t have any retinol or Glycolic Acid in it therefor I don’t think its really going to help with wrinkles, so im not worried about that. More or less for brightening and glow.
I wanted to use the RoC stuff in the tube, the wrinkle stuff for night I think. But I don’t want to start using it now and have my skin get used to it, then have it not work as much when I really need it. Im 22 but I have a little smile lines and I’m starting to see fine lines.
Is it better to be pro active or wait till I really need it?!
Thanks for your input, I didnt mean pro active like the acne stuff though I said if it would be better for me in the long run to BE pro active now, or if using RoC too early would just make my skin used to it, therefore rendering it useless when I do need it.
RoC has very strong anti-aging products that are department store quality.For age 22,RoC is too strong,it’s meant for more mature skin.
Pr Activ is for acne,it won’t help with wrinkles.
You can use anti-aging products,but they need to be gentle,such as “Equate” or “Neutrogena”
Remember:
1)Always wear sunblock/sunscreen when going outside
2)Drink 8-9 glasses of water each day,it rehydrates skin.
3)Moisturize,Moisturize,Moisturize.Moisturize in the AM/Morning & at Night.In the AM/Morning,use a moisturizer with an SPF of 15 or higher.

Whats the best tinted moisturizer I can purchase at a drug store?
Hello there! I heard great reviews about tinted moisturizers, and Im sick of foundations, so I want to try one out.

And can anyone tell me a good concealer that could work good on my skin too?

Sonia Kashuk, and Physicians Formula both make nice tinted moisturizers. As for concealer, try a palette. Sonia Kashuk is great. I do suggest using a translucent powder to set it.

Facial Mask: Gram Flour/Turmeric? Help!?
I found a facial mask recipe and I want to know if the turmeric in the recipe is actually the turmeric you use to cook [usually Indian food/curry?]? Is it safe to put turmeric powder [the one my mom uses for cooking] on my face?
Here is the recipe by the way:
Gram Flour/Turmeric Mask
2 tablespoons of gram flour
A pinch of turmeric
2 tablespoons of fresh milk.
Mix all the ingredients to make a smooth and fine paste
Wash the face with luke warm water before applying it
Pat it dry
Now apply the face pack using a soft brush
Wait and relax for 10-15 minutes
Once the face pack gets dried up, moisten the face with little amount of water and then remove it using wet cotton or sponge
Wipe the face with a soft towel and apply a moisturizer.
Use pure turmeric. With nothing in it. 100%. Just to warn you. Turmeric will stain your skin orange. I used to use it for my acne scar and it make my skin turn orange. HTH.

What’s the best sunscreen for daily use on oily, acne prone skin?
I hate how sunscreens feel so greasy and heavy on your face, but I hate the thought of doing more damage to my troubled skin even more! What’s the best sunscreen to use? Should I use sunscreen over my regular acne treatment moisturizer?
I don’t wear makeup, so I won’t use an SPF foundation. Though that’s a very good way for some people to get sun protection on a daily basis.

how can we make a facial skin moisturizer at home?
face skin, natural ingredient, homemade, skin care, no alcohol, no perfumes, daily use
You can make a very basic one with aloe vera gel and glycerin…..about half and half. That might suffice if you dont have dry skin or if you have skin with just a few dry patches after cleansing, plus skin prone towards spots. If you have very dry skin you can use a little olive oil or castor oil at night time. A little honey in water , or honey used in a face mask (e.g. with oatmeal) will also give moisture to skin. Glycerin and honey are both humectants…..they help skin hold in moisture.

Mer-Bear, yeah that’s the same product. I personally don’t mind the smell either, but I can see how some wouldn’t like it.
It actually works really well. And, it does not leave your hands a different color, it really just helps bring your natural colors out. But, it does smell like fake tan. You will look darker if you use it for a week. Oh and you can shave, and it will be fine!
