How can this under-eye cream work?
I’ve read rave reviews about this cream on the internet to treat the undereye area. It is also supposed to get rid of milia but I can see that in its ingredients, it contains oils. How can it get rid of milia if it contains oils?

Neutrogena Radiance Boost Eye Cream – did it work for you? Alternative products?
I’m a 21 year old male, so currently not worrying about bags so much as dark circles around my eyes that I have had for years and are not getting any better due to my education.

Under eye cream for super sensitive skin?
Hi there. I have really sensitive skin. Like if I change products, try to get a facial or attempt to exfoliate, I get a red patch with little bumps within 24 hours. I then have to go to the doctor to get a ointment to make it go away or it’s there for a year. It’s nuts. Regardless, I found Dr. Hauschka’s line which is all natural blah blah and it’s working well. However, after 5 years of using the under eye balm, I suddenly am having a reaction. Don’t know if they changed the formula or what but it’s just not cutting it anymore. So now I’m looking for some suggestions on alternative eye creams for sensitive skin. I always have used it more preventively…I don’t have wrinkles to puff up or dark circles fade so no need for anything harsh like retinol which will destroy me! I just like slathering on a thick cream to hopefully ward it off in the future! Thanks in advance!

my eye cream is stinging my eyes, what does this mean?
Hi all, I’m using an eye cream at the moment, it’s called “tony & tina herbal eye serum w/blue corn”. well the thing is when i’m using it, it seems to sting my eyes, and i’m abit worried that this might be abit off as i purchased it from somebody off ebay and have no real idea how long the person has had this for. I’m abit worried because i’m not to sure whether it is suppose to be stinging my eyes or not. If somebody has used this eye cream before, could you please let me know whether the same thing happened to you? I’m worried because no other eye cream i have used before has ever stung my eyes this much and it could also possibly mean that this cream is working, or is expired, but i really wouldn’t know. the stinging sensation is only a sting, it does not make my eyes red or anything serious.

Are there banishing under-eye circles products that is makeup, something like Olay?
I know Olay products are targeted at women of 18+ but I wonder if there are other cream products that could reduce look of dark under eye circles for teens, and I don’t mean by using foundation/concealer/powder.
Don’t spend hundreds of dollars on any face lotion that says it will get rid of under eye bags. Because if they are hereditary (it runs in your family) then there is no other option to completely get rid of them than cosmetic surgery. But you can make it less noticeable with concealer.
When you read a label on a face lotion that says anything along the lines of “will get rid of under eye bags”, interpret it as “will make under eye bags less noticeable.” Because that is the truth. No lotion can get rid of them. Remember, no pain, no gain.
But if your under eye bags are not hereditary then maybe you are lacking vitamins, sleep or exercise. Try to get at least 6-8 hours of sleep. And I mean good quality sleep. So you will feel less tired in the morning. Sleep at the same time every night then get up at the same time every morning. Since your brain is trained to do things on a regular basis, you will find yourself feeling sleepy every night at the same time. And you will get up every morning at the same time without an alarm.
Eat a healthy diet. Eat more fruits and vegetables and a bit or milk. Try fruits like oranges, blueberries and blackberries. If you don’t eat properly then you may have less energy. Which will cause you to be lazy and create those under bag eyes. So with the eating, add in some exercise. This exercise can be walking around and listening to music. Or running/ jogging outside and listening to music. For at least 30 minutes. Or washing all the windows at home. Vacuuming one level of the house. Pushing the stroller around the mall.
Another thing I heard was that under eye bags can be caused by allergies. So ask your doctor about this. Or do your own investigation and see if they only appear when you’re doing something or near something. Then ask your doctor for some medicine for it or check out your local pharmacy/ drug store.

Using Clinique Moisture Surge… ?
I bought some on Friday afternoon after hearing that it can be used alone at night as a moisturizer and that during the day I can mix it with my Oil of Olay mositurizer for more moisture. BUT, I’m worried that
1. will it interfere in any way with the spf 15? OR vitamins C&E in the product?
2. How do I use it in conjunction with the All about Eyes eye cream? On top of that? or under it? can i use all 3 together?
Feel free to use derm.terms, as I’m an avid ALLURE reader and I stay up on the latest, i’m just trying to find something new for this all-of-a-sudden-changing 22 year old skin on my face. WHOA.
It can be used alone or with other moisturizers that you have. I prefer it as an extra, and right now in the winter with the heat on, my skin is more dry.
I use it after I have applied every other moisturizer or treament I use, and it does not mess with anything that may be in the moisturizers. I don’t mix it with anything, I just apply it before my makeup. Take an extra minute to massage it in, until it may tingle a bit. Let it absorb before applying any makeup. This will lock in moisture all day. I speak from experience that this does what it says it will do.
It is a very thin gel, oil-free, not a cream, so it won’t feel that you are adding yet another moisturizer, which can be a pain in the butt to do.
You really shouldn’t be using anything on your eyes except eye cream; however, this is a gel and it is oil and fragrance free, so I don’t think it would be that bad. I know that the Dramaticially Different Gel is safe for the eyes, and this is quite similar.
The best thing about this is that if you want more moisture after you have applied makeup, you can put it right over your makeup and it doesn’t mess it up. You might also be interested in the Moisture Surge for eyes and the spray.
Since you said that your skin was changing at 22 get the Clinique Total Turnaround Concentrate. Talk about woah. I am not usually a preacher, but this stuff works like crazy. This is actually an exfoliator that is time released, I believe, to get new cells to the surface, which is very important to the appearance and feel of skin. Immediately your skin will be smoother and softer, but overtime it is more even toned and brighter–for which you probably do not have a problem, but it is preventative, and a good age to start this. My husband doesn’t know if I am coming or going sometimes, but when I started using this, he noticed.
I also recommend the superdefense and the super rescue night moisturizer. Both will be protecting your skin against free radicals and are very moisturizing. But if you are happy with Olay, by all means, stay with Olay. (Get me talking about Clinque and I go off..)

I have really dark under eye circles that are heredetary (not from sleep, i always have them even when i get plenty of sleep). Makeup always makes it look grey and gross. i dont want to spend so much money on creams that usually dont work, so what are some good at home remedies that actually work? i have heard the potatoe juice and cotton ball one, where you grate potatoes and put the juice under the eye. is this healthy and does it work? Also should you put warm liquid or cold liquid under the eye to make the darkness go away?

I’m wondering if I can continue using my Chanel eye cream with the ingredients Avobenzone and Octinoxate during pregnancy?
Avobenzone appears to be relatively non-toxic and rarely causes skin irritation. However, as with many synthetic chemicals, it is unclear whether avobenzone or its degradation products may produce low-level toxicity with long-term use.
