Would exfoliator and moisturizer help acne scars?
My 22 year old boyfriend has some deep acne scars left over from his teen years. He is a great looking guy, but we are trying to find a way to fix his scars. His are not the discolored shallow scars, but are the “boxcar” type.
Although this would not fill in the lost skin, would using an exfoliating scrub such as St. Ives and a daily moisturizer help improve his skin’s appearance? I know it would obviously be better than doing nothing, but would it affect the way the scars look at all? Would it be worth the effort?
Any advice or info would be appreciated.
I heard lemon juice can help, but you gotta use together with other household products I don’t quite recall at the moment.
