Is it true that BB oil moisturizer & Pink Oil Moisturizer coat your hair, rather than moisturizing it?

& that they just “call it a moisturizer” so their products can sell? That’s what someone on here said. I just need to get confirmation on if this is true or not.

its absolutely true. the mineral oil and petroluem just sit on the hair locking in what ever existing moisture but locking out any additional moisture. You’d be better off using a natural oil like shea, coconut avocado or extra virgin olive oil
