Is it safe to combine skin care regimes?

i use the clinique acne solutions 3-step line..and i use a burts bees pore scrub..i was just curious as to if its safe for my skin..the pore scrub has salicilic acid in it but i thought that wasnt a big deal because the clinique stuff has it too….

Make sure you look on both the Clinique bottles and the Burts Bees scrub to make sure it doesnt say “Do not use with other products containing Salicilic Acid. Continual use of both products may cause dryness or irritation of skin.”

I’ve used the St. Ive’s Acne Control scrub and I also use Olay Warming scrub which both contain Salicilic Acid. Neither of which harm my skin in any way.

If you don’t have any dryness or irritation on your skin, then I assume it’s safe to use both products.
