Frequently Asked
Welcome to the Vītl Waters FAQ. Whether you're new to our products or a longtime fan of Mt. Clemens’ healing legacy, we're here to make your experience as smooth and supported as possible.
About the Water
What makes Vītl Waters mineral water so special?
Our water comes from Mt. Clemens’ last known mineral well, a source long celebrated for its healing properties. Used historically in hospitals and wellness spas, it’s naturally rich in beneficial minerals and trace elements, with lab tests conducted in the 1900s and again in 2015, 2017, and 2025 to confirm its composition.
Is the water treated or altered?
No. Our mineral water is natural and left in its purest form. It is not treated, filtered, or chemically modified.
Where can I find the full list of minerals in the water?
You can view the full mineral breakdown on our Mineral Composition page.
Can I drink Vītl Waters® mineral water?
We do not recommend drinking the water. Although the water has historic use and has been lab tested, it has not yet been cleared for internal consumption under current safety regulations.
Has Vītl Waters always been the brand name?
No. The line was originally launched as Ache Away. Over time, the brand evolved and was renamed Vītl Waters in 2009 to reflect a broader vision for holistic wellness while preserving its powerful history and healing legacy.
Is Vītl Waters® mineral water tested for safety and quality?
Yes. Our mineral water has undergone multiple laboratory tests to confirm its mineral content, purity, and consistency. It was originally tested during Mt. Clemens’ historic bathhouse era and has since been independently retested in 2015, 2017, and most recently in 2025. While it is proven safe for topical use and rich in natural minerals, we do not currently recommend internal consumption until additional testing is completed to meet modern drinking water standards.
